How does it feel?

Installation / Performance

What is it to be a stone?

Stones are symbol carriers with multi-layered meanings.Stones have played an important role in the development of mankind, they functioned as tools for hunting, cooking and building. They have been consciously looked at, touched, selected and collected.

Over time, this custom has been lost and thus also the close contact with them.

From a biological point of view, "stones" are graded as inorganic, solid substances.

They are created by geological processes, such as the cooling of magma, sedimentation or transformation under pressure and temperature and consist of minerals, which in turn are made up of chemical elements.

Stones transform over time, just like we do. However, their time is much slower than ours.

For the duration of the performance, I would like to approach the stones.

Choose them from the banks of the Rhine, collect them and bring them to the showroom. Place them and greet the cardinal points.

Share them.

To stimulate you to look at them and touch them.

To lay there still, motionless but present like them.

To feel stones all over my body, have them everywhere....

Maybe we can feel each other for a short time?
